My brakes are low performance, would changing the rotors, brake pads, or calipers help?

Which one would do the most difference? Whenever I hit the brakes, I really have to press down alot, but my other car doesn't need as much pressure, it brakes pretty fast. What should I change?

IT sounds to me like you should just bleed the breaks. If that doesn't work change the calipers.

You need brake-pads that have more %26quot;bite%26quot;, so look into a more performance/track oriented brake compound. This can vary from make/model to make/model. There are so many types ranging from various offerings from OEM, Hawk, EBC, etc.

Also, using DOT 3/4/5.1 brake-fluid improves braking performance as it has a much higher boiling point, thus effectively reducing/eliminating brake fade.

Tires first-%26amp;-foremost are the most important factor in terms of stopping a moving vehicle. So, keep that in mind in terms of your current setup (tire age, treadwear rating, tread depth, etc.).
you probably need all of them replace. check the condition of your pads and rotors and check your calipers to make sure they're not leaking. check your master cylinder for leaks too !!
pads, rotors, bleeding the system. make sure to get it checked for leaks first; very unsafe and new parts wont be the solution if the fluid is leaking. calipers need only be changed if there is a problem that can't be fixed (i.e. seized), or if upgrading for purposes such as racing. pointless investment if not! good luck!
