Changing brake pads 2005 Ford 500?

what are the steps to do this ? The caliper doesn't want to be pushed in to install new pads.

If you are talking about the rear pads, the calipers DON'T PUSH IN, THEY SCREW IN! You have to get the correct caliper tool that fits the tabs on the caliper piston and twist it back in! Also, make sure you get the pads from the dealer, they just updated them to last longer that just 20-30K.

Bleed off the brake fluid. Pressing in the caliper on any modern vehicle without bleeding will destroy the ABS sensor.
THE DUDE IS RIGHT, THEY DO SCREW IN BUT ONE SCREWS IN CLOCKWISE AND THE OTHER SCREWS IN COUNTERCLOCKWISE. THIS IS FOR THE REAR BRAKES. IF IT IS THE FRONT BRAKES THE CALIPER IS SEIZED AND YOU NEED TO REPLACE IT.
use the expander tool
