Changing brake pads--grease?

I recently changed the front rotors %26amp; pads on my RAM. I forgot to add the grease to the slots where the pads go. Do you think I need to go back in %26amp; add the grease so they slide more freely?

thanks

If they were clean (no rust buildup) and slid free when you took them apart you will be fine. If there was rust buildup and were difficult to remove you need to correct. All contact surfaces that the pad touches need to be scraped or sand down to clean metal. Then add a wipe of high temp (no graphite products) grease. just a little covering of grease with no extra globs that may fall off onto the pad or roter.

no too much is bad and i only push grease onthe caliper bolt pins
They are powered hydraulic brakes so no lube is required to make them work . If you do grease them it could cause you to have brake slip or non grip if the grease gets on the pad or disk ~~
will not hurt anything really many shops dont grease so do really it just help keep them from squeaking i wouldnt but if they squeak later not hard to go back and check or put it on back or pads then really no big deal
