I need new brake disc but I want to know do i need brake pads at the same time
Do i need my brake pads and brake discs changing at the same time?
Why do you need new rotors?
New rotors get new pads round here
to avoid yet another false economy.

It's usually better if you do it that way but if the pads are still good I don't see the harm in reusing them
i'd be suprised if your brake pads are any good if the discs need replacing.
What are you talking about brake discs that is a type of brake pad do you mean brake rotors the big round thing that the discs press against to stop the wheel. Or are you aware of the two types of brakes and I'm being dumb
It is usually a good idea. Brake pads usually don't wear evenly over time. You usually end up with grooves developing in the pads so if you just replace the rotors, those grooves now end up cutting into your brand new rotors.
I look at it this way, a pair of rotors are more expensive usually than a set of pads so why not just spend a little bit extra on the pads and this way, you will get maximum life out of your new rotors.
Without a doubt. only a fool would fit old pads to new discs!!!!
It is always best when replacing discs to fit new pads as your old pads will be worn to the shape of the old discs and you will not get even braking which at worst case you could have one brake not working at all. Plus if you fit new pads at the same time and there is a problem with the discs you can easily get replacements, if you dont they will use the excuse that its your pads that have wrecked the new discs
Yes it would be a lot better to do them whils it is all apart rather than change the discs then 2 months down the line end taking it the wheels off again to do the pads, i should imagine if the discs need doing then the pads do as wellespecially if the discs are warping, hence the replacements.
If your putting on new rotors it's best to put on new pads also as the old pads will be uneven and won't give you optimum braking performance.
I think it's better in the long run.
