After changing the brake pads, we cannot get the calipher pins to move freely. What do we do now?

It is a 2003 Ford250 van. We have cleaned the pins and replaced them, yet no avail. Shall we apply a special calipher grease or lube?

My question is HOW did you clean the caliper slide pins? Are we working on FRONT or REAR brakes? Are you sure it's the PINS that don't move freely, or is it the PADS in the claiper bracket that don't move freely. The pads require ANTI-SEIZE lubrication. But the caliper slide pins require BRAKE CALIPER SLIDE GREASE. Using anti-seize in the pins WILL cause them to seize up!

They should have some resistance in them. They shouldn't fall out. If there is too much play then the calipers well make a knocking noise while stopping. If it is too tight, clean the calipers holes with brake cleaner apply some caliper grease to the holes and the pins. Be sure the rubber boots are on right as well
Take the caliper bridge to a mechanic and get them to free up the pins they will most likely use a blow torch to heat the bridge so you will need new rubber protective boots for the slider pins
