How do you change front brake pads 96 previa toyota?
Pretty much like any disc brake vehicle. open the brake fluid reservoir and %26quot;suck out%26quot; some of the fluid so as it is down to the low line. place a rag over the reservoir opening - do not cap it. jack or raise the car and remove the front wheels. use a suitable tool to pry back the calipers - do not scratch the brake rotors.they are probably floating calipers so remove the one bolt and rotate them away. replace the pads and reverse the procedure. if it is a fixed caliper (which i dont think it is) you have to pry back both sides. (this is why you take fluid out of the reservoir - otherwise it overflows.) install the new pads and away you go. pump up the pedal, top up the reservoir.

Thomas E did a great job on describing it! If you want pictures, send me an email address and I'll send pictures.

I agree with Thomas E. As a Previa fanatic and two Previa owner, I'll attest to that.
